Driftwood
Come see us where it all began! Amid rolling hills, abundant wildlife, century-old oak trees, and native wildflowers, you can experience Salt Lick history firsthand. As you enter the restaurant, you’ll be warmly greeted by the famous barbecue pit where we’ve smoked every cut of our meats since 1967.
We’re only a short, scenic drive away from Austin. So you’ll be enjoying our legendary mouthwatering barbecue before you know it, deep in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country!
Round Rock
Adjacent to the Dell Diamond AAA Baseball Field in Round Rock, we’ve constructed a rustic replica of our original location. Stop in before or after the game, or join us on weekends for “Margaritas, Music, and Meat” on a stone patio shaded by amazing oaks.
Our Round Rock location also has a banquet facility for meetings and special events, as well as designated parking and a full bar.
Austin Airport (AUS)
Enjoy our world famous barbecue and local wine from Salt Lick Cellars. As you pass through the airport in the “Live Music Capital of the World,” don’t miss a chance to grab some of our Salt Lick barbecue! It’s the next best thing to making it out to visit us in Driftwood or Round Rock.
The Salt Lick Restaurant is located between Gates 20 & 21 within the Austin airport (AUS). This location is BEYOND THE SECURITY CHECKPOINT and therefore only available for ticketed passengers.
